Brownfield's is using our annual Rummage Sale to raise funds for the Glen Haven Area Volunteer Fire Department. This "small but mighty" team has been fighting Colorado's biggest blaze since August 13th. They have exhausted their resources in this epic fight and have saved hundreds of homes. The people of this community are grateful for their heroic efforts. It is now time for us to come together and help them get the equipment they need to be successful again in the future.
Locals and those who love the area can all support the GHAVFD through our event. We have a few different options for involvement. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (November 23rd-25th), we will open the online store to give everyone the opportunity to participate in the Glen Haven Area Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser. We will have two "fire-themed" short-sleeve tees and one "fire-themed" long-sleeve tee for sale online. There is a short-sleeve shirt for $10, a short-sleeve shirt for $15, and a long-sleeve shirt for $10. We will also have an online "Guys Grab Bag" and a "Gals Grab Bag" for $25 each with souvenirs. We will offer buy online, curbside pick-up as well for these items. On November 27th, we will have our annual Rummage Sale in the store. There will be capacity restrictions in place to ensure social distancing. Also, direct donations for the GHAVFD may be mailed to Brownfield's, PO BOX 250, Estes Park, Colorado by Thanksgiving day.
