We are excited to announce the next series of improvements coming to Brownfield’s! We are embarking on a two-phase, two-year expansion and improvement project. Phase one will include a new two level office building behind the store complete with office spaces, a staff breakroom, storage, and a carport. This will be completed in April of 2022. We will open for our 67th season as usual Memorial Day Weekend 2022. We will close for the 2022 season on October 1st next year to begin phase two of the project. We went to Moab with a mission. In order to get better in business, we decided to become like our customers. We chose a trending tourist town with many similarities to Estes Park. We hiked on the trails, shopped in the stores, ate in the restaurants, walked on the streets, and visited with the locals. We tested new outdoor products for the store on their red, rugged and rocky trails. We found new lines of merchandise to sell. We listened to the stories of locals regarding tourists and the growth of their town. We worked on 115 orders, created countless...

"The 'Travelers' Choice 2021' rankings have been released by popular travel website TripAdvisor and two Colorado towns made the cut for their 'trending destinations' list. On a list of 15 United States towns and cities, Estes Park earned a rank of 7th and Breckenridge earned a rank of 11th. Gatlinburg topped the list. Estes Park was noted for serving as a basecamp for Rocky Mountain National Park, as well as for common wildlife sightings. Our 65th season was capped off with a fundraiser for the Glen Haven Area Volunteer Fire Department. People from here and all over the United States said “thank you” to the Glen Haven Fire Department. They stood in line in 13 degree weather, they bought almost everything we had, they ordered online, they sent checks, they filled boots with cash, and they gave the fire department $20,000. You are loved, GHAVFD!  A great, big thank you to everyone for their generosity!!!
